Yuuichi SATORU is a 26-year-old Japanese professional tennis player. He is currently ranked No. 1 in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). SATORU is a former world No. 1 junior and has won four Grand Slam singles titles. He is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist.
SATORU was born in Tokyo, Japan, on January 1, 1996. He began playing tennis at the age of four. He showed great promise as a junior, winning the French Open junior title in 2013 and the US Open junior title in 2014.
SATORU turned professional in 2015. He quickly rose through the ranks, winning his first ATP title in 2016. He won his first Grand Slam title at the 2017 Australian Open. He has since won three more Grand Slam titles, at the 2018 French Open, the 2019 Wimbledon Championships, and the 2020 US Open.
