Yu Matsumoto is a young girl who lives in a small town. She has always been a bit of a loner, but she is kind and caring to those she meets. One day, she meets an angel named Hanako who has come down to Earth to learn about humans. Yu and Hanako become friends, and Yu helps Hanako to learn about the human world. In return, Hanako helps Yu to learn about herself and her own potential.
