Youmu Konpaku was once a powerful and skilled youkai exorcist who served as the head of the Scarlet Devil Mansion's security force. She was known for her unwavering dedication to her duties and her unyielding determination to protect the mansion and its inhabitants from any threats. However, one fateful day, while on a mission to investigate a mysterious disturbance in the nearby Hakurei Shrine, she encountered a powerful and malevolent spirit that proved to be too much for her to handle. Despite putting up a fierce fight, Youmu was ultimately overwhelmed and defeated by the spirit, which left her mortally wounded.
