2B is a YoRHa android, a highly advanced humanoid fighting machine designed to serve as the last line of defense for humanity in their war against the invading machines known as the Machines. 2B is a member of the elite force known as the Concordia, a group of YoRHa androids tasked with infiltrating enemy territory and eliminating the Machines at all costs.
