Vashti
Vashti was the first wife of King Ahasuerus of Persia. She was a beautiful woman, but she was also proud and headstrong. One day, the king threw a great feast for all of his nobles and officials. He ordered Vashti to come and show off her beauty to his guests. Vashti refused, and the king was furious. He had her stripped of her royal robes and banished from the kingdom.
Vashti's story is a cautionary tale about the dangers of pride and disobedience. It is also a story of female empowerment. Vashti refused to bow to the king's demands, and she paid the price for her defiance. But her story has inspired women throughout history to stand up for themselves and fight for their rights.
