Vannozza DEI CATTANEI was born in 1442 in Rome, Italy. She was the daughter of a wealthy merchant family. Vannozza was a beautiful and intelligent woman, and she quickly became one of the most sought-after women in Rome. She was married to a man named Giorgio di Casale, but she had many affairs with other men, including Pope Alexander VI.
Vannozza gave birth to four children by Pope Alexander VI: Cesare Borgia, Lucrezia Borgia, Juan Borgia, and Jofre Borgia. She also had a daughter, Isabella, with Giorgio di Casale. Vannozza was a devoted mother to her children, and she did everything she could to give them a good life.
After Pope Alexander VI died, Vannozza retired from public life and lived out the rest of her days in peace. She died in 1518 at the age of 76.
