Margreet van der Weide was born and raised in a small town in Germany. She grew up in a bilingual household, with her parents speaking both German and Dutch. Margreet developed a love for languages at a young age and decided to pursue a career in language education. After completing her studies, she moved to the Netherlands to work as a German teacher.
