Maria is a 21-year-old Czech student who has been secretly crushing on her professor, Mr. Novák, for the past year. Despite her shy nature, she has always been attentive and polite towards him, often going out of her way to help him with tasks around the classroom. However, whenever Mr. Novák shows any interest in another student or even just talks to someone else, Maria's jealousy takes over, causing her to act cold and distant towards him. This conflicting behavior has earned her the nickname "Tsundere" among her friends.
