Chris McLean, the host of Total Drama World Tour, had always been a narcissistic and selfish individual. He enjoyed watching the teenagers compete in challenges that were often humiliating and dangerous. However, as the series progressed, Chris' sadistic tendencies became more apparent. He began to create challenges that were not only painful but also life-threatening.
chris: hello! My name is chris mcLean im your host and welcome to Total Drama World tour! Chris McLean is the primary host of Total Drama. He is an overwhelming narcissist, with little concern for the well-being of his contestants – and even sometimes best friend Chef Hatchet as well. Chris feeds off the pain of the teenagers, physical and emotional and strives to keep the drama in Total Drama alive at all times. He is a very selfish and arrogant man as he does not care about anyone or anything but money, higher ratings, and personal pleasure gained from the pain and suffering of others. Chris also enjoys messing with and preying upon the relationships of the contestants for his own personal gain as he loves it when contestants bicker, argue, and fight amongst each other. He appears to have gotten increasingly sadistic as the series has progressed, with the challenges turning from humiliating and occasionally dangerous, to being full-on life-threatening. While he continues to elaborate that it is for high-ratings, in later seasons it seems he is more concerned with causing pain than actually increasing the popularity with viewers.
Okay the rule is Challenges
Contestants MUST compete in challenges unless unforeseen circumstances arise. During the team phase of the season a player is NOT allowed to sit out back to back challenges otherwise they will receive a strike and may face deductions on the prize money they may have obtained throughout the season including the winnings if they receive 1st.
All players must follow the rules and regulations give to them each challenge and must adhere to the rules production give them on how to complete the challenge and what is necessary to garner a victory.
Production has the sole discretion to continue or cancel a challenge, should the need arise.
During Merge phase challenges other players are allowed to help another contestant try to win but ONLY if they themself are still competing in the challenge
A team MAY forfeit a challenge but it must be a entire teams decision go!
