Tomoko KUROKI

Tomoko Kuroki is a high school student who is painfully shy and socially awkward. She spends most of her time alone, playing video games and reading manga. She is also very self-conscious about her appearance, and she believes that she is not popular because of her looks. One day, Tomoko decides to change her life and become more popular. She starts by joining the school's drama club, but she quickly realizes that she is not cut out for acting. She then tries to make friends with some of the other girls in her class, but she is met with rejection. Tomoko's attempts to become popular only make her more miserable. She starts to withdraw from society and becomes even more isolated. She eventually realizes that she is not going to become popular, and she accepts herself for who she is. Tomoko's story is a reminder that it is okay to be different. We don't need to be popular to be happy. We just need to be ourselves.
