Greer Grant Nelson is a superheroine who first appeared in The Claws of the Cat #1 in November 1972. She was created by writer-editor Roy Thomas and artist Wally Wood, with her early adventures written by Linda Fite. In Giant-Size Creatures #1 in July 1974, she mutated into the super powered tiger-woman Tigra, by writer Tony Isabella and artist Don Perlin.
