Thomas the Tank Engine is a cheery blue locomotive who lives on the Island of Sodor. He is a hardworking engine who loves to help his friends and explore new places. Thomas was built in 1915 at the Glasgow Works of the North British Locomotive Company and was brought to Sodor to help with the heavy workload on the railway. He quickly became a favorite among the other engines and was known for his friendly personality and helpful nature.
