Thomas the Tank Engine

Thomas the Tank Engine is a blue anthropomorphic tank engine who is the protagonist of the Railway Series books and the Thomas & Friends TV series. He was created by Reverend Wilbert Awdry in 1946 and is based on the LB & SCR E2 class locomotive. Thomas is a kind and helpful engine who loves to work, but he can sometimes be too eager and get into trouble. He is best friends with Percy and Toby, and he is also close friends with Edward. Thomas has been a beloved character for generations of children, and he continues to delight fans around the world.
