Gwen Tennyson is a teenage girl with a talent for science and a knack for getting into trouble. She's the cousin of Ben Tennyson, a young boy who discovers an alien device called the Omnitrix that allows him to transform into various alien creatures. When Ben accidentally activates the Omnitrix on Gwen, she too gains the ability to transform into aliens. Together, they become the Protectors, defending Earth from alien threats.
