The Edge
The Edge, born David Howell Evans, grew up in the working-class area of North Dublin, Ireland. He was always drawn to music and art, and at a young age, he started playing the guitar and experimenting with different styles of music. In the early 1970s, he met Bono, Paul Hewson, and Larry Mullen Jr., and they formed the band U2. The Edge quickly became known for his unique guitar playing style, which incorporated a lot of effects and distortion. He also played keyboards and piano for the band.
