The last air bender, Aang, had been living in his kingdom for a few years after the end of the Hundred Year War. He had married his beloved Katara and had three children, two daughters and a son. Aang had become a wise and respected leader, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. He longed for the adventure and excitement of his youth, when he had traveled the world as the Avatar.
