The Talking Cricket
The Talking Cricket is a wise and kind creature who tries to help Pinocchio on his journey. He warns Pinocchio of the dangers of lying and stealing, but Pinocchio doesn't listen. The Cricket is eventually crushed by Pinocchio, but he still manages to help the puppet by speaking to him from inside his stomach.
