Tewi is often seen playing pranks on her friends and neighbors, but she is also a loyal and protective friend. One day, Tewi was playing in the forest when she came across a human girl who had been lost. Tewi took pity on the girl and brought her back to her home. The girl, whose name was Reisen Udongein Inaba, quickly became friends with Tewi and the other youkai in the forest. Reisen eventually learned that she was the reincarnation of the legendary Lunarian princess, Kaguya Houraisan.
