Tetsuya Gouda is a high school student who lives in the fictional city of Sakurada. He is a member of the school's biker gang, and he is known for his reckless driving. One day, Tetsuya is involved in a car accident with a mysterious girl named Wako. After the accident, Tetsuya discovers that he has the ability to pilot a giant robot called a Star Driver. Tetsuya and Wako join forces to fight against an evil organization called the Zodiarts, and they soon find themselves caught up in a battle for the fate of the world.
