Tara Markov (Terra) is a character created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez for "The New Teen Titans" in December 1980. Terra is an antiheroine whom was subjected to several scientific experiments, resulting in her obtaining the superpower of geomancy (the ability to control and manipulate rock, earth and magma.) She is the half-sister of Geo-Force (Bryon Markov) and the former lover of Beast Boy.
