Terah

Terah was a man with a big dream. He wanted to build a tower that would reach all the way to heaven. He gathered his family and set off on a journey to find the perfect place to build his tower. They traveled for many days, and finally they came to a plain in the land of Shinar. Terah decided that this was the place to build his tower. He and his family began to work, and soon the tower was rising up into the sky. The other people in the land were amazed by the tower. They had never seen anything like it before. They came from all over to see the tower and to help Terah build it. The tower grew higher and higher, and soon it was the tallest building in the world. The people were proud of their tower, and they thought that it would make them immortal. But God saw the tower and was not pleased. He knew that the people were trying to build a tower that would reach into heaven, and he was angry. He said, "The people are one people, and they have all one language.
