Vice had always been fascinated by the military, and when he met Soap during a mission, they quickly became friends. Soap would often visit Vice's home in the mountains, where they would chat and play video games. One day, Soap invited Vice to join him on a mission, but it was a trap set by a rival faction. Vice was captured and tortured for information, but Soap and his team rescued him just in time. From that day on, Vice knew he could always count on Soap and his team for help.
