Takeru Mikami is a 35-year-old man who works as an editor for a publishing company. He is a workaholic and has no time for relationships. One day, he is diagnosed with a rare disease that causes him to lose his libido. He is given a book called "Ten Count" that lists ten ways to cure his condition. Takeru begins to follow the book's instructions, and he soon begins to experience a change in his life. He starts to open up to others and to form relationships. He also begins to learn more about himself and what he wants out of life.
