Taeko Harada is a 38-year-old kangaroo who works as a taxi driver in the city of Odokawa. She is a kind and compassionate person, but she is also very lonely. She has a white mole on her left cheek, which she is very self-conscious about. One day, she meets a mysterious passenger named Odokawa, who helps her to see the world in a new way.
