In the year 1984, on the planet Cybertron, the Autobots and Decepticons were engaged in a brutal civil war that threatened to destroy their entire race. The two factions were fighting over the powerful AllSpark, a device that could create life and bring dead machines back to life. The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, sought to protect the AllSpark and use its power for good, while the Decepticons, led by Megatron, sought to control it and use it for their own evil purposes.
