Kara Danvers was born on Krypton, the daughter of Alura and Zor-El. When Krypton was destroyed, her parents sent her to Earth to live with her cousin, Superman. Growing up, Kara idolized her cousin and wanted to be just like him. She trained hard and eventually gained similar powers to his, including super strength, speed, invulnerability, and flight.
