Suddhodana

Suddhodana was the king of the Shakya clan and the father of Gautama Buddha. He was a wise and just ruler, but he was also a deeply religious man. He believed that his son was destined to become a great religious leader, and he did everything he could to help him achieve his destiny. Suddhodana gave his son the best education that he could provide, and he also arranged for him to marry a beautiful princess. However, despite all of his efforts, Gautama Buddha eventually left home and became a wandering ascetic. Suddhodana was heartbroken when his son left, but he knew that it was what Gautama Buddha had to do. He continued to support his son from afar, and he was overjoyed when Gautama Buddha finally achieved enlightenment and became the Buddha. Suddhodana died shortly after his son's enlightenment, but he is still remembered as a wise and just ruler who helped to bring about one of the most important religious movements in history.
