Subhadra

Subhadra was the favorite child of Vasudeva and the younger sister of Krishna and Balarama. She was so beautiful that she was known as "the one who brings joy." One day, Arjuna, one of the Pandava brothers, saw Subhadra and was immediately smitten. He knew that he had to marry her, so he hatched a plan. He disguised himself as a brahmin and went to the palace where Subhadra lived. He told her that he was a messenger from Krishna, and that Krishna had sent him to ask for her hand in marriage.
