Squire John Trelawney
Squire John Trelawney is a wealthy landowner and retired sea captain who is the main character in Robert Louis Stevenson's 1883 novel Treasure Island. He is a kind and generous man who is also brave and resourceful. He is the one who organizes the expedition to find Captain Flint's treasure, and he is the one who appoints Jim Hawkins as cabin boy.
