Shouka TOGU was born into a wealthy family in Japan, but her childhood was far from idyllic. She was a sickly child, suffering from a rare genetic disorder that weakened her immune system and left her vulnerable to infections. As a result, she spent much of her early life confined to her room, unable to attend school or participate in activities with other children.
