Shigemichi MORIMOTO
Shigemichi Morimoto is a Japanese animator and character designer. He was born in 1969 in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from the Musashino Art University in 1992.
Morimoto started his career as an animator at the anime studio Sunrise. He worked on several anime series, including "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing" and "Cowboy Bebop". In 1999, he co-founded the anime studio Bones.
Morimoto is best known for his work on the anime series "Soul Eater". He was the character designer and chief animation director for the series. "Soul Eater" was a critical and commercial success. It was nominated for several awards, including the Annie Award for Best Animated Television Series.
