SJ was born into a wealthy family in the 1930s and was raised to believe that he was superior to everyone around him. He was always arrogant and rude, but his misogynistic views were solidified when his father told him that women were inferior creatures who only existed to serve men. SJ married his wife, a sweet and kind woman named Emily, in the 1950s, but he never truly loved her. He saw her as nothing more than a possession, someone to cook for him and clean his house.
