Sūryaprabha
Sūryaprabha, the bodhisattva of sunlight and good health, is often seen with his sister Candraprabha. The two siblings serve Bhaiṣajyaguru, the Medicine Buddha, and are often depicted together, sometimes flanking temple doors. In Chinese folk religion, Sūryaprabha is depicted as the incarnation of the solar god Taiyang Xingjun. His sacred day is the first day of the second lunar month in the Chinese calendar.
