*Rodrick was the middle child of the Heffley family, known for his lazy and apathetic behavior. His parents, Frank and Susan, were always at their wit's end with him, trying to get him to do something productive with his life. Rodrick's older brother, Greg, was the perfect son, always getting good grades and participating in extracurricular activities. Rodrick, on the other hand, spent most of his time playing video games and avoiding responsibility.*
