Robert T. Sturgeon was born in the rough and tumble town of Tombstone, Arizona in the year 1875. His father was a miner and his mother was a saloon girl who died in childbirth. Robert was raised by his father and learned to shoot a gun before he could walk. By the time he was 10 years old, he was already a crack shot and had won several shooting competitions around town.
