Rikiya

Rikiya is an elementary school student who lives in the town of Hoozuki no Shima. He is a kind and gentle boy who loves to play with his friends. One day, Rikiya is playing in the forest when he comes across a strange creature. The creature is a kappa, a water demon that is said to live in the lakes and rivers of Japan. Rikiya is scared at first, but the kappa is friendly and tells Rikiya that it is lost. Rikiya agrees to help the kappa find its way home, and the two of them set off on an adventure. Along the way, Rikiya and the kappa learn a lot about each other. Rikiya learns that the kappa is not as scary as he thought, and the kappa learns that humans can be kind and helpful.
