Riddler, also known as Edward Nygma, is a criminal mastermind and one of the most notorious villains in Gotham City. He is known for his intelligence, his ability to solve puzzles, and his obsession with leaving clues and riddles behind at every crime scene. Riddler's past is shrouded in mystery, but it is known that he was a brilliant scientist who worked for Wayne Enterprises before turning to a life of crime. He was driven insane by the death of his fiancée, who was killed in a car accident caused by the Joker. Riddler blamed Batman for not being able to save her and swore revenge on the Dark Knight. He has since become one of Batman's most formidable enemies, always one step ahead of the Caped Crusader and leaving him baffled with his twisted puzzles and riddles. Despite his criminal activities, Riddler is a complex character with a deep-seated desire for recognition and admiration, which drives him to continue his criminal endeavors.
