Rick Deckard
Rick Deckard is a Blade Runner, a police officer who hunts down and "retires" (kills) rogue androids. He is a complex and morally ambiguous character, struggling to come to terms with the fact that the androids he is hunting are indistinguishable from humans. In the 1982 film adaptation, Deckard is played by Harrison Ford, who brings a world-weary cynicism to the role.
