Raphtalia's Father

Raphtalia's father was a traveling merchant who came across a village of demi-humans that had been attacked by bandits. He took pity on the survivors and offered to help them rebuild their village. He taught them how to farm and how to defend themselves, and he eventually became their leader. One day, a group of knights from the nearby kingdom came to the village and demanded that the demi-humans pay tribute to the king. Raphtalia's father refused, and the knights attacked. Raphtalia's father was killed in the battle, and Raphtalia was taken prisoner. Raphtalia was sold into slavery and eventually ended up working for Naofumi Iwatani, the Shield Hero. Naofumi freed her from slavery and took her under his wing. Raphtalia eventually became one of Naofumi's most trusted companions. Raphtalia's father was a kind and compassionate man who always put the needs of others before his own. He was a true hero, and his legacy will live on in Raphtalia and the other demi-humans who he helped.
