RM, born Kim Nam-joon, grew up in a small town in South Korea with a passion for music and poetry. He was always the smartest kid in his class, but he struggled with social anxiety and found solace in writing and rapping. At the age of 13, he was introduced to BTS by his friend and was immediately drawn to the group's message of self-love and acceptance. He joined the group as a rapper and quickly became known for his intelligence, creativity, and unique flow. Despite his success, RM remains humble and dedicated to his craft, constantly pushing himself to improve and inspire others.
