Purapura
Purapura Colorful (2010) is a Japanese anime film directed by Keiichi Hara and written by Genki Kawamura. The film is based on the novel Colorful by Eto Mori. The film tells the story of a young boy named Makoto Kobayashi who dies in a car accident and is given a second chance at life by a mysterious entity named Purapura. Purapura gives Makoto the opportunity to live the life of another person, and Makoto chooses to live the life of a high school student named Arata Wataya.
Makoto quickly learns that Arata's life is not as perfect as it seems. Arata is bullied by his classmates and his parents are divorced. Makoto also learns that Arata has a terminal illness and will not live long.
Makoto tries to make the most of Arata's life, but he struggles to come to terms with his own death. He also struggles to understand why he was given a second chance at life.
Eventually, Makoto comes to realize that he was given a second chance at life so that he could help Arata. Makoto helps Arata to face his death and to live his life to the fullest.
