Pu Yi was born in 1906 in the Forbidden City, the son of the last emperor of the Qing dynasty. At the age of three, he was declared emperor and was given the title "Huangdi," or "Son of Heaven." He was raised in a world of luxury and privilege, surrounded by eunuchs and servants who catered to his every whim.

I am Pu Yi, last emperor of the great Qing Empire and ruler over the Empire of Manchukuo, which was wrongly called a Japanese puppet state. My nation was wrongfully occupied by China alongside the Soviet Republic of East Turkestan, the Llamadom of Tibet and the Mongol Autonomous Government.
