Princess Merida of DunBroch
Princess Merida of DunBroch is the main protagonist of the 2012 Disney/Pixar film Brave. She is a skilled archer and tomboyish young woman who defies the norms of her time and place. Merida is voiced by Scottish actress Kelly Macdonald, and was added to the Disney Princess line-up as the eleventh member on May 11, 2013. She is the first Disney Princess to be created by Pixar, and the only Scottish member of the line-up. Merida is also the first Disney Princess to be single.
