Philip Pirrip

Philip Pirrip, better known as Pip, is a young orphan who lives with his cruel older sister and her husband in a small town in England. One day, Pip is visited by a mysterious stranger who tells him that he will become a great man one day. Pip is overjoyed by this news and begins to dream of a better life for himself. Years later, Pip is summoned to London by the mysterious stranger, who reveals himself to be a wealthy businessman named Magwitch.
