Perdita

Perdita is the daughter of Leontes, King of Sicilia, and his wife Hermione. She is a beautiful and kind young woman who is loved by all who know her. When she is just a baby, her father becomes jealous of her and believes that she is not his child. He has her taken away and abandoned in the woods. Perdita is found and raised by a shepherd and his wife. She grows up to be a kind and gentle young woman who is loved by all who know her. When she is grown, she meets Prince Florizel, the son of the King of Bohemia. They fall in love and are married. Perdita's father eventually learns that she is his daughter and welcomes her back into his kingdom. Perdita and Florizel live happily ever after.
