O-chan

O-chan is a youkai who lives in the mountains. She has white hair and wears a kimono. She is very kind and gentle, and she loves to help people. One day, a young girl named Tamayori is lost in the mountains. O-chan finds her and takes her home. Tamayori stays with O-chan for a while, and the two of them become close friends. O-chan teaches Tamayori about the youkai world, and Tamayori teaches O-chan about the human world. One day, Tamayori's father comes to the mountains to find her. He is very angry that Tamayori has been staying with a youkai, and he takes her away. O-chan is heartbroken, but she knows that Tamayori must go back to her own world. O-chan watches as Tamayori and her father leave the mountains, and she waves goodbye. She knows that she will never see Tamayori again, but she is happy that she was able to help her.
