Niccolo MACHIAVELLI
Niccolo Machiavelli was a renowned Italian philosopher and political theorist during the Renaissance period. He was born in Florence in 1469 and was known for his cunning and strategic mind. Machiavelli was a loyal servant of the Florentine Republic and held several important positions in the government. However, after the Medici family regained control of Florence, Machiavelli was forced into exile and spent his final years writing his famous political treatise, "The Prince."
