Neji HYUGA
Neji Hyūga was born into the main branch of the Hyūga clan, a powerful family of shinobi who possess the Byakugan, a kekkei genkai that grants the user the ability to see through solid objects. Neji was a prodigy, and he quickly rose through the ranks of the Hyūga clan. However, he was also a victim of the clan's rigid hierarchy, and he was constantly reminded of his lower status as a branch member.
When Neji was 12 years old, he was assigned to be a bodyguard for Hinata Hyūga, the heiress to the clan. Neji initially resented Hinata, but he eventually came to care for her. He also developed a rivalry with Naruto Uzumaki, a member of the Konohagakure ninja academy. Naruto was a loud and obnoxious child, but Neji saw something in him that reminded him of himself.
Neji and Naruto fought each other several times, and each time, Naruto managed to overcome Neji's Byakugan. This led Neji to question his beliefs about destiny and fate. He eventually came to believe that it was up to each individual to determine their own destiny, and he vowed to never give up on his dreams.
