Naoya OHKUBO
Naoya Ohkubo is a professional Japanese mixed martial artist who competes in the heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is a former Kengan Ashura champion and is known for his powerful striking and grappling skills.
Ohkubo was born in Tokyo, Japan, on January 1, 1987. He began training in martial arts at a young age and quickly developed a passion for the sport. He made his professional MMA debut in 2007 and quickly rose through the ranks, winning his first 11 fights.
In 2013, Ohkubo won the Kengan Ashura tournament, defeating some of the best fighters in the world. He followed up his victory by winning two more fights in the UFC, before suffering his first loss in 2015.
Ohkubo has since bounced back from his loss and has won four of his last five fights. He is currently ranked #7 in the UFC heavyweight division and is considered one of the top contenders for the title.
