Wallyson, also known as Lampião, was born in 1898 in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. He was the son of a wealthy farmer who was killed by a rival family when Wallyson was just a child. After his father's death, Wallyson's family was forced to move to a poor neighborhood in the city, where they struggled to make ends meet.
